Does jAPS 2.0 respect the principle of separation between content and presentation? jAPS 2.0 integrates a Web Content Management System that provides a complete separation between the two dimensions of the content storage (content repository) and content presentation. The separation between information and presentation is one of jAPS 2.0 strengths. The concept has been interpreted in a strict (not only for the information content), suggesting the exclusion, during the drafting of all the information presentation.

Does jAPS 2.0 allows the management of multilanguage content? The platform allows the management of multilanguage content, with the possibility of adding or removing language and provides the opportunity to select the language in which you want to translate the contents or portions. The platform is natively multilanguage. It is possible to introduce new languages with a simple configuration interface. The content management system also allows you to manage the translation of texts on the template pages (titles, labels) using a special user interface.

Does an internal search engine exist in jAPS 2.0? jAPS 2.0 provides indexing & searching features. The search engine integrated in the platform is Lucene. In some project have been integrated also third-party owners search engines.

Is jAPS 2.0 content management interface web based? The content management interface of jAPS 2.0 is accessible only using an internet connection and a browser without download and install additional plugins. The system is completely web based. The administration interface is tested on Firefox 3, MSIE 7.0 and MSIE 8.0.

Is the editing interface of jAPS 2.0 accessible compatible with the W3C WCAG standards? jAPS 2.0 allows to create accessible portals compatible with the accessibility requirements of W3C WCAG standards. jAPS 2.0 back-office allows to editors to manage the portal ensuring that it remains accessible over time.

Does jAPS 2.0 allow to manage multimedia content? jAPS 2.0 provides the management of multimedia content as document resources. It is possible to integrate the publication of multimedia contents with alternative texts to be compatible with accessibility requirements.

Does jAPS 2.0 allow the import of RSS and other XML formats? jAPS 2.0 has implementations of RSS viewers and allows to integrate imported RSS in the content repository. This allows to edit, approve and publish the imported RSS as jAPS 2.0 content.
